The apartment is located on the first floor of a beautiful bourgeois house at the address Rimska ulica 8, in the historical city center, close to all major points of interest of the city of Ljubljana (theaters, museums, concert halls, libraries ...). It is situated only a few minutes on foot from many faculties, such as Faculty of Arts, as well as the faculties of architecture, geology, textile, construction and many others.
The apartment is located on the first floor (no elevator) and is divided into two parts. From the staircase we enter into the common hallway, where a pantry is situated, containing a washing machine, rack for drying laundry, ironing facilities and a vacuum cleaner, which is available to all tenants.
From here it is possible to enter the apartment on the left, consisting of the rooms L1, L2 and L3, and the apartment on the right, with two rooms, D1 and D2 andthe central apartements with rooms D3, D4 and L4. Some rooms come with own bathroom in the room, some rooms share a bathroom.
Each apartment has a kitchen for the use of all students and, of course, a dining room. Every kitchen includes cabinets with dishes as well as cupboards to store food, one for each student.
Nekatere sobe so dvoposteljne druge enoposteljne. Zaradi zagotavljanja večjega komforta in manjše obremenjenosti skupnih prostorov smo se za šolsko leto 2019/2020 odločili, da bomo nekatere dvoposteljne sobe spremenili v komfortne enoposteljne, kot je natančno obrazloženo pri vsaki sobi posebej.
Since the apartment has extremely high ceilings, the rooms are divided according to height with bunk beds and a staircase, so that the intimate space of each student is separate from the others. Za zagotavljanje intime smo še dodatno poskrbeli z zatemnitvenimi zavesami, s katerimi si lahko vsak študent zapre svoj prostor.
The rental price includes cleaning of the rooms and of all the common areas twice a month.
All students have access to a bicycle shed in the basement, and every student obtains the key to it at the time of moving in. Near our location is also point where you can rent a bike (BicikeLJ) with URBANA card.
The apartment has Wi-Fi Internet access while also numerous sockets for cable Internet access are available in each room.
In the immediate vicinity of the house where the apartment is situated there is a grocery store, drugstore, post office, bank, tobacconist, and the main Ljubljana marketplace is not far away either. Only a few steps away is the bus stop where most of the city buses stop.

The house, built in 1898, boasts with a very interesting history. After the Ljubljana earthquake of 1885, the lawyer Dr. Franc Munda, who was known as the biggest Slovenian youth patron, built a house at the Rimska cesta no. 8 and 10. Both buildings still stand today carrying the letter "M" over the main entrance, which symbolises tha name Munda. The house at Gradišče 14 (former address) was an important charity fund that allowed many poor students to complete their studies.
Dr. Munda was a great expert, but above all he was very generous and benevolent. With conscientious and diligent work he obtained rich earnings. His possessions stretched from the today's Rimska cesta to Gregorčičeva ulica and from today's Slovenska cesta to Igriška ulica.
This property also included a large garden (an area that we now call the "Ferant's garden", after the name of its then tenant who sold flowers and vegetables in that location).
Dr. Franc Munda remained a great patron of Slovenian youth even after his death. This was proved by his testament entitled "My last will". Although at the time of his death the University of Ljubljana did not yet exist, he has devoted all his possessions to it – six buildings and an extensive garden with a total of around 8,500 square meters in the center of Ljubljana – i.e. he named the student support association Radogoj the manager of his extensive property. Unfortunately, his will never came true.
After the outbreak of the First World War, the management of the Munda legacy was taken over by the court. In 1948, all the Munda property, according to the decision from 1948 by the District Court in Ljubljana, was nationalized. The Munda legacy fund finally ceased to exist in 1957.
In 1967, the University of Ljubljana founded the Boris Kraigher Scholarship Fund which was renamed the Dr. Franc Munda Fund on the 28th February 1991.

The apartment is oriented toward the Ferant's garden, with views of the trees and the tower by the arch. Edvard Ravnikar from 1975. It is a quiet, bright (because it has a very high window) and pleasant. The apartment was fully renovated and furnished in 2015. Every summer, it is renovated and arranged again.
At the entrance the hanger with a mirror and a shoe rack is positioned. The dining room includes a folding round table and three folding chairs. The kitchen is placed in an alcove by the window and is fully equipped with everything you need (hob, sink, refrigerator, oven, kettle and of course all the necessary utensils and cleaning supplies). The food can be stored in the cupboards, one for every student.
The dining room is followed by the entrance into the D1 room intended for one person, with a private bathroom. The room is decorated in an interesting, modern way with a touch of old, which is in line with the architecture of the house.
The bed is custom made (width 120 cm), in the niche, from the door and the door leaves, which remained unused after the renovation of the apartment. Beneath it is the storage space.
In the room is a renovated wooden cabinet, dating from the period of construction of the house, alongside a desk on wheels, dresser with wheels, upholstered swivel office chair and shelves. The room also has a pair of paintings, which may be removed upon request.

Iz jedilnice vstopimo še v sobo D2, ki je razkošna dvonadstropna soba s kopalnico, za eno osebo.
Spodnji del sobe je namenjem študiju, zgornji pa spanju. Spodaj ob vhodu je omara z dvema predalnikoma pa nasproti kopalnica. Soba je opremljena z večjo mizo na kolesih, vrtljivim pisarniškim stolom, večjim predalnikom na kolesih, knjižno omara in foteljem.

The apartment is oriented toward the Rimska ulica, overlooking a beautifully restored house from the late 19th century. It was completely renovated and refurnished in 2015. Every summer, it is renovated and arranged again.
Najprej vstopimo v predprostor, ki je namenjen skupni uporabi. V tem prostoru je nekaj foteljev, obešalniki, ogledalo in prostor za shranjevanje čistil ter čevljev. Iz predprostora sta vhoda v sobi L1 in L2, v kopalnico, ter v kuhinjo z jedilnico, iz katere je vhod v bolj razkošno dvoposteljno sobo L3 z lastno kopalnico.

Sobi L1 in L2, imata skupno kopalnico. Opremljeni sta na zanimiv, igriv način. Za zagotavljanje večjega udobja v stanovanju, smo se odločili, da bosta sobi enoposteljni.
Spalni del je urejen na pogradu, spodaj pa je razkošen študijski kotiček s pisalno mizo in knjižno omaro ter dnevni prostor s foteljem, levo ob vhodu pa je še večja omara s predalniki.
V kopalnico za sobi L1 in L2 vstopamo iz veže. Ima ločen prostor z WCjem, pult z dvema umivalnikoma, nišo s policami ter dodatni odlagalni prostor pod umivalniki in tuš. V wc-ju in pod umivalnikoma sta tudi dva koša za smeti.
V jedilnici je ob oknu miza s klopjo. Iz jedilnice vstopimo še v sobo L3, ki je namenjena dvema osebama in ima svojo kopalnico znotraj sobe. Ena oseba ima urejeno vse potrebno za bivanje spodaj, druga pa zgoraj.
Door leaves in the bedrooms and bathrooms are new – modern design, and the front door to the apartment represent the refurbished original doors from the period of construction of the house. The windows are double folding windows, renovated and painted, very high, so the rooms have a lot of light.

The L2 room is the second one, between the L1 room, kitchen and dining room. It is interestingly arranged and separated according to height: upstairs is sleeping area, downstairs is living area and place for studying .

From the dining room we enter the last room, L3, which is intended for two students. This room is arranged in an interesting way since it has its own bathroom above which there is a larger bunk bed, as the height of the room is 4 meters!
It is equipped in the way that one bed with a wardrobe and a table is positioned below and the other one is situated above, to ensure every student has a little more intimacy.
In addition to the said furniture there is a bigger dresser with joint use in front of the bathroom, as well as shelves under the staircase, two bedside cupboards with drawers and table lamps. Each table has its own comfortable chair, a lamp and a trash bin, together with additional shelves.

Stanovanje je orientirano na eni strani na Rimsko ulico na drugi pa na Ferantov vrt. Prenovljeno in vseljeno je bilo jeseni v letu 2019. Najprej vstopimo v skupen predprostor, kjer so obešalniki, omara za čevlje ogledalo in foteljček. Iz predprostora sta vhoda v sobi D3 in D4, ter v kopalnico, ki pripada sobi L4.
Kuhinja je opremljena z vsem potrebnim (kuhališče, napa, pomivalno korito, hladilnik, zmrzovalnik, pečica, mikrovalovna pečica, grelec za vodo in vsa potrebna posoda, ter potrebščine za čiščenje). Vsak študent ima svojo lastno omarico za hrano. V širšem delu kuhinje je velika miza s klopjo.
Soba D3, je prva na desni strani ob vhodu v centralno stanovanje. Namenjena je eni osebi.
Soba je zanimivo razporejena: v spodnjem delu je velika pisalna miza, police za knjige in predalniki pod stopničem, ki vodi na pograd, kjer je spalni del in garderoba. Pod pogradom je urejena kopalnica s tušem, umivalnikom in wc-jem. Soba je svetla, saj ima veliko okno, s pogledom na drevesa Ferantovega vrta.

Soba D3, je zadnja na desni strani v centralnem stanovanju. Soba je za dva študenta in ima svojo kopalnico znotraj sobe (s tušem, umivalnikom in wc-jem). Razporejena je tako, da ima vsak študent svojo intimo: eden spodaj, drugi zgoraj na pogradu. Vsak ima svojo mizo, udoben stol, predalnik, posteljo in dve svetilki.
Intima je dodatno zagotovljena z zatemnitvenimi zavesami, ki so postavljene tako, da si vsak študent po želji zagrne svoj predel sobe.
Levo ob vhodu v sobo sta omari, predalniki, ter nekaj polic. Soba je svetla, saj ima veliko okno, s pogledom na drevesa Ferantovega vrta.

Soba L4, je zadnja v centralnem stanovanju z vhodom iz jedilnice. Soba ima svojo kopalnico, ki je zaklenjena in na razpolago le sobi D4, z vhodom iz hodnika.
Soba je za dva študenta Razporejena je tako, da sta obe spostelji na pogradu, spodaj pa ima vsak študent svoj prostor za študij z mizo, policami in udobnim stolom. Ob vhodu v sobo desno je večja garderobna omara za oba študenta.
Tudi v tej sobi so v spalnem delu zatemnitvene zavese, ki dajejo možnost intime komur spi, medtem ko drugi še študira... Soba je svetla, saj ima veliko okno, s pogledom na Rimsko ulico.
